WHAT WILL RAMS TRACE DO ???

RAMS Trace has many uses in the CAD/ CAM world. Here are a few... 

1. Raster to vector conversion... In other words, you can trace a .jpg, gif or other image (Raster) file and make it ready for a CNC mill or router to cut. Many convenient, powerful global commands makes this simple and fast. You can even convert certain colors from raster to vector!!  OR... All colors in an image!

2. Many times sign makers and other industries find in necessary to use a flat bed scanner to scan in artwork. These scans are never clean enough to cut direct. They have loops, too many nodes, open areas and will not produce a clean product from the mill or router. In RAMS Trace... the scan is easily cleaned up and made ready for tool path and code generation.

3. Most  fancy fonts drawn by artist have open contours. In RAMS Trace a single click can close these problematic open areas.

4. Drawing modifications are often needed. This is easy in RAMS Trace. The small animation above shows just some of the power of the program by converting the horse to a unicorn!
