Mechanical High Precision!

Paths for very simple or VERY complex pieces like this turbine are easily done in RAMS. This 4 Axis pathing shown was requested by a customer that couldn't get other CAM packages to path the part. It took less than 5 minutes in RAMS!

Just minutes in RAMS Gold produces this 4 axis tool path laid on an STL file obtained from a CAD program. A perfect tool path in a matter of seconds! Customers enjoy the speed and accuracy of RAMS. After setting up two or three rings in RAMS Gold, using our continuous 4th axis, this takes the average user about 3 minutes.

3Axis Tool Pathing Is Fast!

An .STL file format was opened in RAMS and a tool path established. Less than a minute was spent here including building the tool.

Multiple Paths!

Shown here is a multiple pass tool path, each pass is a little deeper than the first. You just tell rams the total depth you want to go and how many passes you want to make...RAMS sets the depth of each pass! Here, 2 rough passes and a finish pass were made. Note the different colors of the tool paths

Spiral Tool Path!

A DXF file here for 2-d Sign Cutting! Notice just for fun we used and INTERNAL SPIRAL cut!!! We could have just as easily left the letters and removed the background! Let the sawdust fly!

LOOK! A simple DXF file and multiple pass paths established in seconds! This is the corner of a large bracket. One Click, Multiple paths! NICE!

Nice Profiling!

A simple profile cut on a DXF file. Each pass takes the tool a little deeper! I goofed! Do you see it??? I SHOULD have used the TABS feature to keep the part from flying out the door! RAMS does 2D and 3D...No program switching!

Slect Any Portion!

You can Cut any part...or all of your design! A DXF file is used here and just the "R" and the "W" will be cut. 2 Passes each! A simple Internal Spiral Cut! RAMS lets YOU choose! The red line on the outside is a profile "cleanup line to clean the edges of the letter.

Select ANY Letter!

Another example of cutting just part of the design. Here, we decided to cut just around the border, selecting a flat end mill, leaving the letters un-selected so we could use a "V" tool.

RAMS Is Careful!

Get Fancy! A DXF file here shows a parallel cut on the surface of the piece. Notice RAMS knew the tool we chose was too large and left some areas "Unmachined". Rams didn't trash your part. Check out the next image for sure!

Save Time!

This is the same part as above, Same PROGRAM, ALL ONE CODE FILE... Changing to a smaller tool and telling RAMS to go clean up the "Unmachined" areas. The red tool path is the cleanup! Notice RAMS didn't have to run over the entire part, just where the larger tool couldn't machine. Look at the six new holes in the corners that RAMS made no attempt to cut with the larger tool. Look close and you can see that RAMS established a "Profile" tool path in order to clean the edges of the part.

Precision Pathing!

A star is born! An STL file was opened and very quickly a tool path was generated to cut out the star you see here. RAMS lets you do this in less than 2 minutes! FAST & EASY!

"V" Cutting Is Easy And Accurate!

"V" Cutting is easy in RAMS! Saved out of Corel Draw as a dxf or eps, just build your cutter in RAMS and you're on the way to PERFECT "V" Cutting. The "Chiseled" look on text is just this easy too!
