RAMS Is Careful!
Get Fancy! A DXF file here shows a parallel cut on the surface of the piece. Notice RAMS knew the tool we chose was too large and left some areas "Unmachined". Rams didn't trash your part. Check out the next image for sure! Click Here to enlarge the image.
Click Here to enlarge the image. This is the same part as above, Same PROGRAM, ALL ONE CODE FILE... Changing to a smaller tool and telling RAMS to go clean up the "Unmachined" areas. The
red tool path is the cleanup! Notice RAMS didn't have to run over the entire part, just where the larger tool couldn't machine. Look at the six new holes in the corners that RAMS made no attempt to cut with the larger tool. Look close and you can see that RAMS established a "Profile" tool path in order to clean the edges of the part.
